How to play Call of Duty: Warzone on PC, plus the system requirements
Call of Duty: Warzone is now available for all players and systems. Even if you don’t own Modern Warfare, you can play Warzone as a standalone title. For console users, the application can be found in your system’s online store. However, the battle royale is also available on PC, but it’s a bit harder to locate and download. Today, we’ll be going over how to download Warzone on PC and checking the system requirements.
Where to download Warzone on PC
For most Activision titles today, players need to download the Battle.Net launcher on their PC. This is just like the Epic Games launcher or Steam in that you can download games directly. Although, this one is specific to Activision titles.
With Warzone, there is no difference. Simply download the Battle.Net launcher, sign in or make an account, then head to the “Shop” tab at the top of the launcher. In the search bar, type in “Call of Duty: Warzone” and click on the drop-down link. This will direct you to the download page for Warzone. Be warned though — if you don’t own Modern Warfare, the download size will be over 80 GB.
The system requirements
As with any PC title, there are minimum and recommended system requirements for Warzone. These are guidelines for you to see if your rig can run Warzone and what settings are best for you. Below, you can find both the minimum and recommended requirements.
Minimum system requirements
- CPU: Intel Core i3-4340/AMD FX-6300
- GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670/NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650/AMD Radeon HD 7950
- RAM: 8 GB
- OS: Windows 7 SP1 64-bit/Windows 10 64-bit

While the requirements to run Warzone aren’t too beefy, if you want to run at high graphics settings, you’ll need a fairly decent PC. Also, let’s hope you have a large hard drive or SSD because you’re going to need a good amount of storage.
